How many times have we seen something that came to pass where thousands even millions of people "have gone there" and it was simply the wrong thing to do. One example that comes to mind is cigarette smoking. In the late fifties and sixties, cigarette smoking was the cool thing to do and tobacco manufacturers could advertise on TV. I heard a recording on the radio recently of the voices of Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble (of the cartoon "The Flintstones) extolling the virtues of "lighting up!". Gee, how many people "follow others" by peer pressure, or not knowing to comprising their health! Learning how to make decisions for oneself and having an idea of a goal in mind for one's life are most certainly factors which contribute to success in life and uniquely allow for something different to take hold. So true as well. I think preparing yourself for not only one end but thinking about several paths to get there, leaving yourself options and having choices is a great thing. The south exit or the 15 freeway exit, two optoins, both choices leading to a different outcome. Choose the best that fits your life at that moment, leading of course, to the best outcome for you.
