Thanks for the comments, Jim. I have to agree with your premise that it is sometimes more efficient to eat alone. Your blog looks like an amazing resource and your business story an inspiration. Keep up the blogging!

Bloggers are part of the Blogosphere, so we are all inter-dependent on each other. I spend most of my days visiting blogs and posting on blogs, and it never ceases to amaze me the support I get from fellow bloggers (practically strangers!)

As for polyphasic sleep, I have never tried it, but since I only sleep 2-4 hours a day (consecutively), I have experience in sleeping very little. Oddly enough, I am rarely tired

Polyphasic sleep is amazing, but I also had problems fitting it into my schedule. I have therefore devised an alternative polyphasic sleep schedule that allows me to get by with 4 hours of sleep.

I have followed my alternative schedule for around 30 days without any problems and plan to continue with it forever :)

I agree and thanks for making this blog post. I recently set up a blog at SpinningSilk.org which deals facing the fears that keep us from learning things that can make our life more valuable. It's a "spin-off" of things I observed with the business my wife and I own. In fact I had already added this blog to my blogroll.

It is from a Christian perspective from the point of view that God has created for a purpose of serving others and that we should combat our selfish fears to learn things that will serve others. To me that is one definition of success that begins today. Conquering the challenges and fears of life and turning them around to become stronger in order to be a better contributor in this life.

I agree with networking (even recently posted an article on it). I am however somewhat obsessed with efficiency so often find eating alone is more efficient.
