I have always wondered what drove me to accomplish amazing things in certain areas of my life yet others have been a real struggle. When I look back, the excitement quotient is a real factor. Boring and tedious goals soon fall by the wayside. It's ironic that some of those BHAG's (Big, Hairy, Audacious, Goals) are easier to accomplish than easier but more mundane ones. Motivation is what we need to keep us fueled in achieving our goal. If we run out of motivation, we would be like a car stranded in an isolated area. I agree with that thought.
