I finally got some time to try the offline app out. It does work but it leaves a little bit to be desired. It's somewhat hard to figure it out at first and you lose a lot of the formatting on the page, but it does retain the text for offline reading. The other thing I notice with RSS feeds is that the built-in Apple RSS reader truncates most feeds and then gives you a link to the main blog or source. The other thing that I found is that imbedded You-tube videos will not play on a webpage, but they will play in the You-tube app itself. The main drawback to the iTouch is the fingerprints that get all over it from the touch interface. Other than that it works great.
