		<description>Hi Lee,

Thanks for the link to your site. As a frequent presenter, I can attest to Murphy and his law. Thanks for the tips!

		<description>Hi John,

Great post with lots of great advice. When presenting, you must remember that if you're not early, you're late.

If you don't mind, I'd like to mention a blog I recently started that's all about all the things that can go wrong when you're giving a presentation (or when you're supporting someone else's presentation efforts). It's called Breaking Murphy's Law (http://www.breakingmurphyslaw.com).

I hope you like it and find it useful.

<description>Thanks for the reply Aaron. A good Powerpoint presentation will leave you energized and motivated. A poorly done Powerpoint will leave you energized and motivated to leave as soon as possible..... :-)

<description>Having had to sit through more than my fair share of PowerPoint presentations I can tell you that all of these pieces of advice are gold - especially preparing in advance. The only thing worse than sitting in the audience watching someone struggle to get an image to register on the projector is being the poor guy at the podium.

Also, when possible, replace bullet points with visuals (which is basically what you said.) A picture's worth a thousand words, but it also helps you say what you need to say in less time, as you point out.</description>
