Some readers have asked for more information about me, and why do I write about personal development?
And what are my qualifications?
First of all, I’ve enjoyed a variety of life experiences and training to prepare me for writing this blog. My formal training is in technology, but along the way I’ve sold many a widget (with passion, I assure you) and learned the power of ideas. I’ve worked on fine automobiles, and learned the power of names. I’ve worked for a school district, and learned that today’s role models have a profound effect on tomorrow’s leaders.
I’ve also participated actively in my church and in Toastmasters (DTM), where I’ve learned that all of us need mentors, and you can be at once a mentor and a mentee.
I do not sing, nor do I tell jokes. But I have a sense of humor and enjoy a bad pun with the worst of them.
All of these experiences have produced the person that I’ve become, and through my blog I want to share ideas with the greater world. Here you will find my suggestions for small things that make life easier, and big things that require more thinking, time, and determination.
My goal is to continue to become, and to help you become, a person with a balance between head, heart, hands and health.
Think, care, do, and maintain….keep following this blog as we both discover new ideas, ways of seeing, and meet new friends along the way.
